Todd Delay

Founder & Chief Investment Officer

Todd founded GammaQ in October 2006 and became sole principal and CIO in April 2007. Todd has a strong agriculture background and from 2006 to 2014 was co-owner and operator of an 8,000-acre farm which grew corn and soybeans as well as a 12,000-head cattle feedlot in Nebraska.

Todd leads the firm’s Investment and Portfolio construction, utilizing his strong physical background of the underlying economics of the commodities we trade to position the fund to profit along the evolving supply chain.

Zachariah Yurch

Managing Partner, Director of Operations & Head Trader

Zachariah joined GammaQ in 2011 and is a Managing Partner. He is Head Trader for GammaQ working closely with Todd to express his views through the futures and options market. Zachariah handles all execution and portfolio maintenance. He works closely with David to maintain the portfolio in a proprietary exposure. In addition, Zachariah handles all allocations and liaison with administrators. Zachariah has a B.A. in Economics from Colgate University.

David Allain

Managing Partner, Director of Research & Head of Risk Management

David joined GammaQ in 2011 and is a Managing Partner. He is the Director of Research and Head of Risk Management for GammaQ. David designed in-house programs to prepare daily P&Ls, delta adjusted exposures, risk reports and stress tests for the portfolio. David also leads and maintains all proprietary research and supply and demand models. David has a BBA in Finance from Texas Christian University.

Matt Wenk

Chief Financial Officer & Chief Compliance Officer

Matt joined GammaQ in 2021 and is the CFO and CCO. Matt oversees all accounting, tax, and other operational tasks. In addition, his responsibilities include managing GammaQ’s comprehensive compliance program.  Matt received a B.B.A. in Accounting from Baylor University, a Master of Taxation from Florida Atlantic University, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Nick Leiding

Cash Trader & Analyst

Nick joined GammaQ in August of 2021 bringing an extensive knowledge of physical grain & feed markets to the team. He has traded truck, rail, & barge markets, expanding from Indiana to Utah with a large focus on arbitrage within the cash basis markets. Nick graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in Agricultural Economics and received his M.S. in Finance & Risk Management from University of Colorado, Denver.

Pat Koons

Manager of Cattle Procurement and Marketing

Pat graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Animal Science, after which he started training as a horseman. He went on to manage ranches across the Midwest, worked as a livestock market analyst and eventually went on to own and operate several commercial feedlots. Pat works directly with Todd, Zachariah and David to bring additional insight to investment strategies.

Kelley Nichols

Back Office Manager & Controller

Kelley began working with Todd in 2010 as bookkeeper and administrative assistant. Her responsibilities have grown and she is GammaQ’s Back Office Manager with her duties covering controller functions and human resources. Kelley handles trade reconciliation and assists Zachariah with day-to-day administration of GammaQ.

Michelle Robinson

Assistant Controller

Michelle joined GammaQ in June 2018 as a Bookkeeper. She assists Kelley with the organization’s billing, accounts payable and accounts receivable responsibilities. She holds an MBA in Finance and has worked in the insurance, mortgage and banking industries for over 20 years.
